This product help prevent insects from entering the house, and can be used as a replacement for sunshade curtains when needed. 1.1. Design of 2 in 1 – Pleated Curtain-Screen:

2 in 1 – Pleated Curtain-Screen is designed with 2 wings, one wing uses polyester mesh to help prevent insects. One wing uses visor fabric as a sunshade when needed.

Polyester Mesh:

Polyester mesh is an important. The quality of imported mesh is strictly selected by us from reputable suppliers. We use waterproof, wrinkle-resistant, non-toxic, odorless and non-toxic stiffening polyester mesh (see mesh comparison video)

Curtain fabric visor:

The 16mm thick PU coated visor curtain has up to 60% sun protection and over 95% UV protection. The fabric is covered with a silver layer to create a shiny curtain surface that brings high aesthetics, so in addition to blocking light, the curtain also has the effect of blocking heat from the outside, contributing to regulating the temperature in the room.

1.2. Easy to clean, maintain and replace

To make the installation, maintenance and periodic cleaning easier, we have improved the assembly method by adding 2-way assembly plastic details. With this method, users can assemble and disassemble themselves without the need for technical support.

1.3. Replacement of plastic wire guide material

This plastic detail is an important factor that determines the life of the product. The previous generation, during operation, the customer did not pay attention or due to animals, external forces caused the door to be deviated. The support wires system is not adjusted to balance in time, there will be overlapping and overstretched wires. Therefore, if the plastic wire guide is just a normal plastic material, it is easy to be cut off due to the frictional force when the wire moves.

1.4. Support wires made of polyester yarn

The support wires is considered as the "bone frame" supporting the entire mesh of the pleated screen. If the material of the wires is not good, it will reduce the life of the pleated screen.

2. Principle operate

When opening the 2 in 1 - pleated curtain-screen : Hold the handle and pull horizontally until the end of the rail with single, or pull to the midpoint with double.

When closing the 2 in 1 - pleated curtain-screen : Pull back until the mesh fits inside the aluminum frame.

Note that the door can stop at any position you choose in its path.

3. Mounting options

In case of mounting in the interior of the frame:

To mount the door interior of the frame, about 4.5cm in size is needed, from the plane outside the wall to the window bars or glass door (see video on survey and installation).

In case of mounting in the exterior of the frame

In this case, the frame size is no longer enough to accommodate the housing, when mounted in the exterior of the frame, the entire Screen system will be exposed to the outside.

4. Main structure

The 2 in 1 - pleated curtain-screen frame is a completely new design, we use aluminum 6063-T5. Customers can feel the elegance, aesthetics but still ensure the technical requirements (View details).

The aluminum frame is powder coated with AkzoNobel (From Netherlands) or coated with wood grain color film according to the standards of the aluminum factory, ensuring durability without peeling or fading.

Plastic Details: 

Deciding to focus on innovation, we used a large financial investment package for plastic injection molds, which completely changed the design, improving the surface quality of every detail. Plastic materials all use 100% engineering plastics imported from Taiwan, or South Korea (Click here – CO, CQ imported plastic marterials).

Polyester mesh and visor fabric:

For the 2 in 1 –Pleated Curtain-Screen, we use a waterproof, anti-wrinkle, high-strength polyester mesh pattern, which is officially imported from the Chinese factory (View CO, CQ).  Visor fabric coated with PU layer to make the surface shiny and aesthetic (Click to see the visor fabric test).
